Note:
1- "The Naples Original" is actually a new signature cocktail. Why is it called "original"?
2- Naples’ signature cocktail is served at these Naples Originals restaurants: Bayside Seafood Grill & Bar, Chez Boet, Ciao, The Dock at Crayton Cove, M Waterfront Grill and Stoney’s Steakhouse, Alberto’s on Fifth, Flava, and Le Lafayette.
Ingredients:
¾ oz. Dancing Pine Oak Cask Rum
¾ oz. Coconut Flavored Rum
¾ oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
¾ oz. Coco Lopez Coconut Cream Splash of club soda
3 sprigs fresh mint, plus one for garnish Lime wheel garnish Coquitos (marble-sized coconuts, optional garnish)
Procedure:
1. Lightly muddle the mint in the coconut cream.
2. Add lime juice and rums.
3. Fill with ice to the top and give it a long, hard shake.
4. Pour through strainer into a glass over ice.
5. Add a splash of club soda.
6. Garnish with mint sprig, lime wheel and coquito.
