Ingredients:
2 cups fresh Orange Juice
2 cups of Brown Sugar
1 cup of Clover Honey
1/2 cup of Soy
1/2 cup fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 tablespoon of Pepper Flakes
2 Star Anise
2 Cinnamon Sticks
1/2 cup of Chopped Garlic
1/2 cup of chopped Fresh Ginger
1/2 cup of Kori Roasted Chicken Base
Zest from 1 orange
Procedure:
Heat a little sesame oil and sauté the ginger and garlic for a minute. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, simmer 10 minutes until flavor is concentrated enough. Thicken with cornstarch to a “Sweet and Sour Consistency”- remove Star Anise and Cinnamon. Garnish with thicker “asian style” zest of orange, scallions, black & white sesame seeds, and cilantro. Use the sauce for tossing your wings, makes enough to feed two.
