Macadamia Nut Fudge Brownie Recipe - Chef Glenn Moehlin


Yields: 1/2 sheet pan

Chef Notes: 
Make these brownies in a sheet pan or as mini cupcakes

Ingredients:
1½ cups melted butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 Tbls. vanilla
1 cup cocoa powder
1½ cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Procedure:
Melt butter, add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together, then add and mix till smooth. Add mac.nuts, mix and pour into greased and floured pan, spread evenly.

Bake 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes. Toothpick should come out clean. Be careful not to over bake
or they will dry out.

I like to bake it in a sheet pan and later cut the brownies with a bisquit cutter. I serve these brownies with whipped cream, strawberry on top, and a drizzle of chocolate.
