The Gallery Cafe: Indian Taco Recipe

Ingredients:
8 c. self rising flour
2 3/4 cups hot water
Chili*
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Lettuce, shredded
Tomatoes, diced
Onions, chopped
Jalapenos, de-seeded & sliced
Sour cream
Salsa

Procedure:
Mix self rising flour and hot water just until moistened. Do Not Over mix! Cover and let stand for at least 2 hours. Take a large spoonful of dough the size of a tennis ball and pat out almost flat in a pan of dry flour. The size of the flat dough should be the size of a salad plate. Drop carefully into a deep fryer at 350°. Fry until golden brown and flip over. Remove when both sides are golden brown. Cover with chili, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, chopped onions, jalapenos, sour cream and salsa.

Notes:
