Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
6 eggs
2 cups milk
2 cups heavy cream
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 pound stale bread, diced
2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
3 very ripe bananas
1 cup brown sugar
Procedure:
» Preheat oven to 350 degree*
» Whisk together sugar, egg* and vanilla until smooth. Stir in milk and cream. Add stale bread and toss to coat Let rest until custard rs absorbed into bread pudding melt together butter and brown sugar. Stir in mashed bananas until mixed fold banana mix into bread. Pudding place Into greased 9-by-16-inch baking pan and bake for approximately 45 minutes. Raise oven temperature to 400 degrees for 15 additional minutes. Serve warm with caramel sauce and whipped cream.
