Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
1 slice of bread
5 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon beer (or milk)
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Pinch of coarse black pepper
Pinch of cornstarch
Directions:
1. Toast the slice of bread.
2. Mix ingredients together. Mound or spread on toast.
3. Put on baking tray. Bake in 350-degree oven for 10 minutes.
4. Remove and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Notes:
Welsh Rabbit is a basic "Wales cheese melt."Ingredients:
