P.F. Chang's: Vietnamese Coffee Recipe


Main Ingredients: Café Du Monde ground coffee, sweetened condensed milk

Serve: Cold or Hot

Chef's Notes: Vietnamese coffee is the secret ingredient in our new Vietnamese Chocolate Lava Cake. This fudge-filled cake features just a hint of coffee flavor and is served with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and fresh berries.

Ingredients: 
Vietnamese coffee filter
¾ cup hot water
2 tablespoons Café Du Monde ground coffee
3-4 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk (4 if you like it extra sweet)
Mug for brewing
Glass for serving
Crushed ice

Procedure:
Step 1: Arrange coffee filter over mug.
Step 2: Add coffee grounds to the coffee filter.
Step 3: Pour hot water over grounds and wait patiently for the coffee to brew.
Step 4: While it’s brewing, add sweetened condensed milk to glass.
Step 5: When all the water has seeped into the filter, it’s done. Remove the filter from the mug.
Step 6: Pour the freshly brewed coffee over the milk into the glass.
Step 7: Stir until creamy. Add ice and enjoy.
