Ribeye Steak w/ Spicy Honey Glaze & Mushrooms - Chef Braggs


Spicy Honey Glaze Ingredients:
3 tsp. chili garlic sauce
2 tsp. dijon mustard
2 tsp. white wine vinegar
3 tsp. honey
2 tsp. canola oil

Procedure:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large cast iron skillet coat pan with canola oil and heat to medium  high.
Season steaks with salt and pepper, both sides.
Just before the oil begins to smoke place the steaks side by side and sear 2 to 3 minutes each side.
Glaze steaks with a spoon, coat the entire steak. (Only one side is fine.)
In the same skillet, finish steaks in the oven 5 to 8 minutes.
When steaks are cooked to desired temperature remove and let rest on a cutting board.
Turn heat on high using the skillet with the residual juices from the steaks and add the mushrooms.
Saute mushrooms on high for 4 minutes.
Plate the steaks on top of mashed potatoes and top with mushroom mixture.
