Four Seasons Hotel - Istanbul at Sultanahmet: Chef’s Touch Club Sandwich Recipe


Serves: 1

Pita Bread Ingredients:
⅓ to ½ cup (100 g) flour
4 tsp (20 ml) water
Pinch of salt
Pinch of fresh yeast

Pita Bread Method:
1. Mix all the ingredients and allow to rise for one hour.

2. Knead, then use rolling pin to roll into 4-inch (12-cm) circle. Bake for 5 minutes in 390°F (200°C) oven until it puffs up

Sandwich Ingredients:
1 hard-boiled boiled egg
1-¾ oz (50 g) Kars gravyer cheese
1-¾ oz (50 g) turkey ham
1 tomato
1 oz (30 g) beef bacon
2 pieces lettuce
Creamy thick yogurt
¾ oz (20 g) pickled white cabbage (for garnish)

Sandwich Procedure:
1. Spread yogurt inside pita bread.
2. Put sliced lettuce, tomato, Kars gravyer cheese, ham, egg and bacon into the pita pocket.
3. Slice into four pieces. Garnish with pickled white cabbage and French fries.
