Alexander's Restaurant: Marsala Sauce


Marsala Sauce:
2 Tbsp onion, finely chopped
1 clove fresh garlic, chopped
2 Cup chicken broth
1/2 Cup fresh mushrooms (any kind)
1 Cup Marsala wine
1/4 Cup heavy cream
1 Tbsp  cornstarch (for thickening)

Procedure:
On the stove top, sauté chopped onion, garlic and mushrooms in a pan. Add chicken broth & simmer together about 5 minutes. Add Marsala wine. thicken with cornstarch. Add the heavy cream. Let cook 5 -7 minutes on medium heat.
